On this second day of a family tour in Nepal, you will explore UNESCO Heritage Sites. Early in the morning, after your breakfast, our tour guide will be there at your Hotel reception.

Then, you will take a private vehicle and start exploring these sites:

• Pashupatinath Temple
• Boudhanath Stupa
• Patan Durbar Square

In the middle of the tour you will be taken to a nice restaurant for lunch, and after completing sightseeing, you will be taken back to your hotel.

After your breakfast in the hotel, get ready for another day of adventure in Nepal. Our tour guide will pick you from your hotel around 8-9 then we will head toward the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Riding in a hustle and bustle city area, we will reach Bhaktapur Durbar Square in around 40-45 minutes.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient palaces, pagoda-style temples, and intricate wood carvings.

Here, you will explore:

• 55 Window Palace (Pachpanna Jhyale Durbar)
• Nyatapola Temple (the tallest pagoda in Nepal)
• Local pottery workshops, where you can see artisans at work.
• Optional activity for families: Take part in a quick pottery-making session.

After this, we will take a short drive of 20-30 minutes from Bhaktapur to Changu Narayan Temple. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and it is believed to be one of the oldest temples in Nepal.

Here, you will explore:

• Ancient stone carvings and intricate architecture provide a glimpse into
• Nepal’s rich history.
• Numerous sculptures and carvings of Vishnu
• Stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley from its hilltop.

Then, after this, we will enjoy our lunch break at a local restaurant near Changunarayan. Then, we will continue our last phase of today’s journey by taking a short hike to Nagarkot. After walking for around 3-4 hours, we will reach Nagarkot.

Recently this palace has been emerging as the best tourist destination in Kathmandu for the suitable atmosphere surrounded by lush hills. Also, the sunrise and sunset view from here is absolutely magical.

Once you reach Nagarkot we will check in one of the best hotels in Nagarkot. Don’t forget to watch the sunset view over the Himalayan range.

On this fourth day of the Family tour in Nepal your today destination will be Chitwan National Park. We will take a direct ride from Nagarkot to Chitwan National Park early in the morning, around 7-8 am. Riding for around 3 hours from Nagarkot, we will reach Chitwan National Park.

Upon arrival at your lodge in Chitwan, you’ll be greeted with refreshing welcome drinks. Then you will check into your accommodation and take some time to relax and freshen up.

After this we will take a lunch and then prepare to leave for the exploration of Tharu Village, which is home to the indigenous Tharu community. Here, you learn about their unique culture, traditions, and way of life, visiting traditional homes and interacting with community members.

After exploring the Tharu village we will head to Rapti River closer to it to watch the beautiful sunset view. Then, after this, we will enjoy the Tharu Cultural Dance programme, which happens between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. After getting entertained by local Tharu dancers we will enjoy the dinner and conclude our today’s family trip.

Today’s family tour will be exciting as we will do a Safari inside the Chitwan National Park, which is home to The horned Rhino. After having breakfast in the hotel we will first explore nature by taking a canoeing ride on the Rapti River.

While canoeing, you will spot various bird species and possibly some crocodiles sunbathing on the banks. The beauty of the Rapti River and lush greenery make this a perfect family-friendly activity.  

After this you will take a step into the wilderness with a guided jungle walk. Enjoy close encounters with the flora of Chitwan and stay alert for unique wildlife sightings.

Then we will visit the Elephant breeding to observe elephants and their playful calves. Here, you will understand the importance of these majestic creatures to the local ecosystem.

Now it is time for lunch. We will enjoy our lunch by returning to our accommodation. Take a rest for a while. The main adventure starts now. You will ride a jeep with your tour guide inside the Chitwan National Park. You will explore Chitwan National Park, which is home to one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, deer, and countless other species.

You will enjoy this wildlife moment with your family and take enough pictures and videos for memories. Then, you will return to the hotel for dinner and stay the night in Chitwan.

After an exciting journey in the Chitwan National Park now it’s time to visit Pokhara. Early in the morning, before breakfast, we will first head for a Jungle walk for refreshment and bird watching. Then we will return to the hotel for breakfast and prepare to leave for Pokhara which is 150 kilometers and it takes around 6 hours to reach. 

The road conditions from Chitwan to Pokhara are good. You will enjoy your meal in the middle of the journey. Once you reach Pokhara, you will stay in the lakeside hotel, which will be booked already by Namaste Nepal.

Pokhara has a vibrant nightlife. You can enjoy the beautiful lakeside views, relax at a café or spa, dine at local restaurants, and explore the city at your own pace.

The journey of the Nepal tour will be incomplete if you don’t explore Pokhara. There are lots of things to do and see here in Pokhara. In this Nepal family tour we will explore the major attraction of Pokhara.

After breakfast in your hotel we will head for Phewa Lake to enjoy the boating experience. Boating in the peaceful water surrounded by the lush hill and breathtaking view of the Annapurna range is a fun thing to do with your family. 

Then, after that, we will ride to David Falls inside the park, where you will explore the cascading waterfall that disappears into an underground canyon. Inside the park, there is a temple and cultural dress photo stand where you can stand and take pictures with it. 

After this, you will visit Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which is situated opposite David’s fall. Inside the Cave, you will find the Shiva Linga, which symbolizes the Lord Shiva. As you walk through the cave, you’ll also see beautiful statues and artistic carvings of various deities along the stairs, adding a spiritual and cultural touch to your experience.

After this, we will enjoy our lunch and then take a ride to the World Peace Stupa. From the stupa you will witness the sweeping view of the city, Phewa Lake, and the surrounding mountains.

Then, further on the hill, there is Pumdikot Shiva Temple, which you will visit to explore the grand view of the lord Shiva Statue. This statue is 51 feet long, and it is the second-largest statue of lord shiva in Nepal. From here, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Annapurna range, including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

Outside the temple gate, there are lots of local shops from where you can buy the souvenir for the remembrance of the Nepal tour visit. In the evening you can enjoy the perfect sunset view from Pumdikot. After this, we will return to our hotel and spend our night at the Lake Lakeside Hotel.

Today is another exciting day in Pokhara. Early in the morning, we will head to the Sarangkot viewpoint, which is situated at 1,592 meters. We will reach Sarangkot about 20 minutes earlier to watch the sunrise. 

We will reach the Ganesh temple, which was built recently. From here, you will have a sunrise view. Also will enjoy the panoramic Himalayan views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu, including Pokhara City. We will visit the nearby Ganesh temple, which was built recently.

Then after this we will return to our hotel for lunch and rest for a while. Then, after a short drive from your hotel, we will reach Kande, which is the starting point of Kande. The hike will be 2-3 hours, and it is perfect for your family. 

Admiring the natural surroundings, we will reach the Australian Camp. From this viewpoint, you will witness the panoramic view of the Annapurna Range, including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Lamjung Himal, and the vast Pokhara Valley below.

You can take time to relax and even do activities like Yoga, meditation or family picnics. Also, this location is perfect for photography. You will spend your night today in one of the best accommodations in Australian Camp.

This 9th day of the Family tour in Nepal begins by watching the sunrise view over the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre range from Australian Camp. It’s a great way to start your journey. Then, after having a delicious breakfast in this vintage point, we will take a short walk to the forest trail and traditional village, which will lead us to Dhampus village. This short walk is short and easy and is perfect for family.

Dhampus is a beautiful village situated at an altitude of 1,650m. The lush hill and panoramic view of himalayan mountain range surrothe Himalayan Village. After you arrive in Dhampus you will get the opportunity to explore the rich Gurung culture. Then we will have lunch and then take a drive to Bandipur. 

From Dhampus, riding for around 2-3 hours, we will reach Bandipur(Queen of Hills). We will check into hotels, and later in the evening, we will explore this beautiful place.

On this 10th day of the Family tour in Nepal, now it’s time to head back to Kathmandu. Early in the morning, we will enjoy the fresh air and have a delicious breakfast. Then, after that, we will prepare for the drive. It will take around 5-6 hours to reach Kathmandu from Bandipur.

We will say goodbye to this beautiful village and take a scenic drive through the diverse landscape of Nepal. In the middle of the road trip, we will take a break to enjoy the food and for a short break.

After you reach Kathmandu you will check in the hotel and refresh after a tiring road trip. Later in the evening, you will have a farewell dinner with the Namaste Nepal team. You will enjoy Nepali cuisine with live cultural music and dance performances.
