Day
1After breakfast, you will drive from Kathmandu valley to Chitwan National Park. On the way enjoy the great view of the different Himalayas, the Countryside of Nepal, lower alpine forests, many green hills, and Riverside. On reaching the hotel in Chitwan, you would be briefed by our Jungle Safari and nature Guide about your jungle activities.
After lunch you will be doing the following activities:
Village Tour to ethnic Tharu village
After lunch, you will take a Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village, where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. Visit the National Park Visitor's centre where you can learn and study more about the history of the National Park, wildlife, flora, and fauna then you will witness the Sunset view from the bank of Rapti River.
Dinner: by the time you get back to your hotel the dinner would be ready.
Tharu Cultural Program:
In the evening you will walk to see ancient Tharu cultural program where they will be performing the Tharu cultural Dance, Stick Dance, Peacock Dance, etc with traditional music, getup, and musical instrument
Day
2Wake-up calls followed by tea or coffee and then proceed for canoeing. A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River; it is the best opportunity for Bird Watching and seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. You can do a Jungle Walk and on the way back to your Hotel for lunch you can enjoy the elephant bathing View; if you are interested you can try for Elephant Bathing as well.
After lunch, you will set up for another ride to deep inside the Chitwan National park. Jeep safari covering a distance of about 20 km, with chances of seeing rare wildlife. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, 1 Horn Rhino, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear, the Royal Bengal Tiger, Many Birds, flora and Fauna. You will also encounter many other smaller Animals they have made Chitwan National park their home.
Later on the day, you will also visit the Crocodile Breeding Center. It is located in an isolated place from the crowd which is on the deep inside the park. To save the endangered Gangetic crocodiles known as Gharials or Mugars, eggs are hatched, brought up, and released into rivers. The fascinating view of Crocodile from egg to giant one will make your visit worthwhile.
Day
3Wake-up calls followed by tea or coffee and then proceed for the visit to the Government Elephant Breeding Centre. Of all the animals, elephants are probably the most graceful animals on the planet. Your nature guide will take you to show Elephant Stable. They will explain the nature and habits of elephants. The extraordinary Center was established in 1985 for the captive breeding of domesticated elephants trapping for domestication. You can learn about the efforts they are putting to increase the population of elephants and get to see several cow elephants and their calves.
After Lunch, you will up for Elephant back Safari. An excellent opportunity, the most popular, and adventurous way to encounter many different kinds of wildlife in Chitwan national park. An experienced elephant rider will take you to the deep into the forest to insure too show animals like One-Horned Rhino, deer, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear, the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky), and many more at a closest possible distance. You will also meet many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan National park their habitation.
Day
4Early in the Morning after the wake-up tea, you will up for the Bird Watching; this is the best time of the day to watch the birds. Then you will be back for the breakfast.
After the morning activities, you will set off for your way to Kathmandu. If you are interested to extend your trip you can visit Lumbini from Chitwan or visit Pokhara.
